Silent protest at MGM Hospital over unused gadgets

Jamshedpur, Dec 21: Members of Mango Jan Sangarsh Seva Samity, founded by  BJP leader Vikash Singh on Monday observed a silent protest at the MGM Hospital premises holding placards against  several modern gadgets lying unused at the hospital.

The Samity members later also submitted a memorandum to the hospital superintendent drawing attention to the CT Scan, Echo machine, CRM machines etc lying unused in the health centre even as poor person have to get those expensive tests done privately.

The members warned the hospital superintendent that if the machine are not repaired within a month then they would collect alms from across the city and deposit the amount in the state exchequer to get the machines repaired and operational and if even then the machines are not made operational then they would gherao the residence of state health minister and Jamshedpur West MLA Banna Gupta at Kadma.

The BJP leader also asked the hospital superintendent to take back the AC room and a garage given to the health minister’s representative at the hospital premises and use that room to treat patients who are now lying on the floor of the hospital due to lack of space.
