Sibling deities end nine-day sojourn to Mousi Bari in Seraikela

Seraikela, July 1: The three deities ended their annual nine-day sojourn to Mousi Bari in Seraikela on Wednesday, July 1.
Devotees witnessed Lord Jagannath�s �Bahuda Yatra� — the return car festival amid tight security on Wednesday.
The three deities Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Lord Balabhadra and their sister Devi Subhadra ended their annual nine-day sojourn and returned to Sreemandir or Shri Jagannath Temple on three majestic wooden chariots during the �Bahuda Yatra�. On the line of Puri, Rath Yatra festival is celebrated with much fervour in Seraikela. Lord Jagannath takes two days to travel to Mousi Bari from Srimandir and take the same time while returning back to Srimandir.

Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and their sister Devi Subhadra started their return journey from Mousi Bari to Srimandir on Wednesday and after a night halt, the deities will reach Srimandir on Thursday.
Devotees worshipped the deities on Wednesday.
According to mythology, on this auspicious day the three sibling deities � Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Lord Balabhadra and their sister Devi Subhadra wrap up their annual nine-day sojourn to Sri Gundicha Temple, their birth place and return to Srimandir riding their three majestic wooden chariots.
