Ranchi, April 10: Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered prayers at the Tapovan Temple in Nivaranpur in Ranchi on the occasion of Ram Navami and announced of beautification plan of the temple on Sunday.
Addressing after worshipping at the temple, Hemant Soren said, “Today, on the occasion of Ram Navami, there is an influx of faith with slogans of Jai Shri Ram echoing everywhere. Thousands of devotees are participating in the traditional procession of Shri Ram Navami. All this is showing our unwavering and infinite devotion towards Lord Shri Ram. I would like to congratulate the devotees and pray for the happiness, prosperity and peace of the state and the people of the state by performing ritualistic worship in the temple.”
The Chief Minister said that the traditional procession of Ram Navami has been going on for a long time.

“May this continue continuously, we all wish this to Lord Shri Ram. The influx of devotees who came out on the roads today is ample proof of the fact that Lord Shri Ram resides in every heart. Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram fills so much strength in the body of all of us, due to which devotees from every corner are coming here today to take blessings at the feet of Lord Shri Ram and together they are enhancing the beauty of the Ram Navami procession. May the festival unite and strengthen all of us,” said Soren.

Announcing on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the beautification of Tapovan temple would be done by the government. This work will be completed before Ram Navami next year. Many facilities will be made available here for the devotees.
After two years, a grand procession of Ram Navami was taken out in Jharkhand. Devotional atmosphere was visible everywhere. While big Mahavir flags were enhancing the glory of this procession, people from different akhadas were seen performing feats.
Incidentally, Ramnavami processions was prohibited for two years due to Covid pandemic in the state.
A grand procession was taken out in the capital Ranchi. Every road was full of devotees. All were seen going from Albert Ekka towards Tapovan temple. All the flags were merged in the Tapovan temple of Ranchi. During this, voluntary organizations distributed jaggery and gram along with cold water to the devotees from place to place. At the same time, the procession of Ram Navami was also taken out in Khunti. On this occasion, Union tribal affairs minister cum Khunti MP Arjun Munda, MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda and others attended. On this occasion, Union Minister Arjun Munda congratulated the people for taking out the procession peacefully and prayed for happiness and prosperity.
