Jamshedpur, May 15: A three day entertaining workshop was organized at the premises of Sheyn International School.
At the onset of summer vacations this was absolutely rejuvenating an experience for the teachers from the monotonous and tiring schedule.
On the first day, teachers were introduced to the new and advanced software of �Extramarks� (Smart Class). The world is growing at a furious mode and kids are fast learners, hence teachers should always be one step ahead of them and therefore this programme was mainly designed to keep the teachers of Sheyn up with the pace of the enhanced learning ideas.
The second day of the programme was yet more interesting where the In-Steel Toastmasters-an international forum for spoken English, was invited.
The Toastmasters session was really interesting for the teachers and it comprised of the theme of being an �ebullient� teacher; a teacher should always have a happy disposition, as it is rightly said �a happy teacher is a good teacher� there were various topics for the table topic discussion, where the teachers eagerly participated.
Nevertheless, the session boosted the teachers with a youth fervor and also gave them the confidence of becoming good speakers; as it is true to say that �a good speaker is an efficient manager�, and teachers are accepted to be equipped with managerial skills. The third day of the workshop was a Teacher�s Orientation Programme.
Here the teachers were taught various Life skills tools such as empathy, coping with stress, critical thinking, etc.
This session was over took by Principal Mr. Manuj Sharma who motivated his teachers to be more enthusiastic and innovative towards their students.
The teachers were equally privileged to be a part of such an intellectual roller coaster and at the end of this three day workshop found themselves high-spirited.
It was expected now, that when the teachers will be back after the vacations they will have a new zeal and a confident approach towards their subject and students too. Vice-Principal Mrs. Pushpa Bhalla was also present at this work shop, she too along with the teachers participated.
