Jamshedpur, May 15: Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) organised a special week long workshop from 9 to 15 May for mothers of students of the school, which concluded on Mothers’ Day.

The workshop aimed at making the mothers Tech Savvy.

It was a computer literacy workshop where the ladies were given hands on training on how to operate a computer. They were made familiar with the Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, use of internet and smartphones too. It also included a session on Cyber crime. The workshop ended with the mothers proudly displaying their presentations, the audience being none other than their own children.

Ashree Dubey & Anirban of Std 7 who had once thought that using computer was “not Mummy’s cup of tea” were pleasantly surprised to see their mothers working on the computer so confidently.

Some of the ladies who attended the workshop were Sarika Dubey, Mrs Sanjita, Mrs Suman Ladha, Mrs Kanchan Sharma and others thought that this was the best way to celebrate Mothers day. They also look forward to another edition of this workshop which will be organised after school reopens.
