Jamshedpur: The Durga Puja festival organized by the Sri Sri Rankini Temple Durga Puja Committee in Kadma was inaugurated by the chief guests, including social worker and partner at Shreeleathers, Bistupur, Shekhar Dey, along with Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari and K.K. Arora on Saturday. Following the ceremony, the Puja pandal was opened to the public for darshan.

Speaking at the event, chief guest Shekhar Dey said, “Durga Puja is not just a religious festival, but it symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood and the triumph over social injustice.”

He added that this celebration carries an important message for today’s society—that we should embody these values in our own lives and work for the betterment of society and the nation.
Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari and Diwakar Singh highlighted that the Rankini Temple is one of the most revered temples across Jamshedpur. The puja here is conducted with great devotion and attracts people from across Kolhan region.

The event saw the presence of Committee President Dilip Das, General Secretary Janardan Pandey, Deepak Biswas, K.G. Govind, A.R. Dey, P.K. Singh, Satish Verma, Sanjay Kumar Premnath, Harbhajan Singh, S. Ramesh, Subhash, Kartik, and other senior and junior members of the committee.
