Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Seraikela-Kharsawan police launched an intensive vehicle checking drive at several places in the district. A helmet checking drive was conducted at Lal Building Chowk. It was led by Inspector (traffic) Vijay Prakash. Over a hundred vehicles were seized by police. The vehicles were released after imposition of spot fine. A sum of Rs 74,600 was collected from violators, sources said.
