Mool mantra chanted one lakh times at Dharma Saastha Temple

Jamshedpur, Jan. 29: On the concluding day of four day Havan for Lord Dharma Saastha, Havan with one lakh time mool mantra was performed by the Ved pandits at the Dharma Saastha Temple as part of the 71st Saastha Preethi Celebrations on Tuesday.

Prior to this, as per the prescribed rituals the day’s puja started with Havan for Lord Ganapati. At the end of the pujas and havan, sacred clothes and sarees were offered. Later on poornahuti was performed followed by Vasordhara was conducted in which continuous pouring of ghee with chanting of Chamakam. At the end, Maha arati was shown after which Uttaranga pujas conducted to Lord Ayyappa and Kalash Abhishek was also performed. Prasad was distributed to the hundreds of devotees by the members of the Managing Committee of the Temple.

In the evening, Maha arati was shown to all the presiding deities after which Rudra Kramarchana and Ved parayana was done by the Ved pandits.
Bachendri Pal, Chief, Tata Steel Adventure Foundation(TSAF), today visited the Temple who was honored with a shawl by PN Sankaran, Working President of the Temple.
