Seraikela: Alert sounded in wake of Ram Navami, DC and SP inspect sensitive areas

Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan police administration is on alert mode in view of Ramnavami. On Saturday, all the police and administrative officials of the district, including Deputy Commissioner Arva Rajkamal and SP Anand Prakash, took stock of the preparations by marching on the streets of Adityapur, Gamharia and Kandra. Deputy Commissioner Arva Rajkamal expressed his gratitude to the government while wishing the people of the district a happy Ram Navami. He said that the government has extended the timing of the procession keeping in mind the sentiments of the people. People will now be able to take part in the festival of love and brotherhood. He appealed to the people of the district to celebrate Ram Navami in a peaceful manner. At the same time, he said that the infection of Corona is not over yet, keeping this in mind, following the guidelines of the government, people should come out of their homes and enjoy the festival. He said that a sufficient number of magistrates and forces have been deployed in the district. SP Anand Prakash said that there are 46 licensed and 23 non-licensed arena societies in the district. He has expressed the possibility that 46 Akhara committees will take out processions in the entire district. While Adityapur has 12 akhara committees, out of which seven committees will participate in the procession this year, he said that not all akhara committees will take out processions, yet as a precaution, an adequate number of security forces have been deployed in the entire district. RAF personnel have also been deployed. Adequate force has been deployed from the district to deal with any possible threat. He appealed to the people to celebrate the festival of love and brotherhood in a peaceful manner. He said that after identifying the sensitive areas, a sufficient number of magistrates and forces have been deployed there. Apart from this, special task forces have been constituted to keep an eye on social media. During this, Seraikela SDO Ram Krishna Kumar, Gamharia BDO Maruti Minj, SDPO Harvinder Singh, Gamharia CO Manoj Kumar, Adityapur police station in-charge Alok Kumar Dubey, RIT station in-charge Mohammad Tanjil and other officials were present. During this, all the officials also took stock of the preparations of the arena committees and appealed to the common people to enjoy the festival in a peaceful manner.

DC and SP give instructions 

Seraikela. In view of the rituals to be performed during Mahaviri flag procession, a joint directive has been issued by Deputy Commissioner Arva Rajkamal and Superintendent of Police Anand Prakash regarding law and order. Rajkamal has said that on April 10, the worship program on Shri Ram Navami and on April 11, Mahaviri flag procession will be taken out in the district. During this, deputation of magistrates and police officers have been made at the police station level to maintain peace and order in the entire district. Under this, considering 28 areas under 12 police station areas of the district as sensitive, tight security arrangements have been made there. In this, instructions have been given to take special vigil in Seraikela district headquarters, Adityapur, Gamharia, Chandil, Rajnagar and Tiruldih police station areas. SP Anand Prakash has said that special vigil will be kept on the procession passing through the way of the mosque and church. Violent incidents can be carried out by anti-social elements taking advantage of the crowd. That is why instructions have been given to take special care in these areas. The officials have been asked to keep in touch with the control room. so that information can be exchanged regularly. He has said that CCR has been developed as a control room at the district level.
