Jamshedpur, June 11: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has raised concerns with the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Chakradharpur Division, South Eastern Railway, regarding the imposition of fees for dropping passengers at the second entry gate near Burmamines at Tatanagar Railway Station. SCCI President Vijay Anand Moonka and Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia confirmed the submission of a letter to the DRM, with a copy sent to the General Manager of South Eastern Railway.

Moonka emphasized the inconvenience caused by charging fees for dropping passengers at the station’s second entry gate, especially when vehicles did not utilize parking facilities. The Chamber asserted that such charges were unjustifiable. In light of this, they called for the provision of free dropping facilities at the Burmamines second entry gate to enhance passenger and vehicle owner convenience.

The Chamber’s office bearers, including Vice President Anil Modi, Advocate Rajiv Agarwal, Puneet Kauntia, Abhishek Agarwal Goldy, Secretary Bharat Makani, Advocate Anshul Ringasia, Vinod Sharma, Suresh Sharma Lipu, and Treasurer Anil Ringasia, have joined in urging the DRM to address this matter promptly and ensure the implementation of free dropping arrangements at the second entry gate.
