Saryu felicitates teachers at People’s Academy High School

Jamshedpur: East MLA Saryu Roy organised ‘Teacher Award Ceremony’ at People’s Academy High School, Sakchi New Baradwari on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. In total 42 headmasters of high, middle and primary schools located under East Jamshedpur assembly constituency and other six distinguished students were felicitated. Dr. Anita Sharma, who received the President’s Award, was honoured with a certificate and a shawl. Roy honored all the teachers in turn, garlanded them and provided them with a pen set. On this occasion, MLA said that the contribution of teachers is important in the development of the society. School is a place where children get elementary education and their academic, mental and physical development takes place. He called upon the teachers to emphasize on providing better education to the children with the resources available at present. 
Roy said that qualified teachers should be promoted and posted in the directorate so that on the basis of the experience of the teaching field, they can do better in the field of education, the shortcomings can be overcome.
