Chandil: Popular tribal festival Sarhul was celebrated in great festive spirit at Jaher Sthan at village Jariadih.
Village priest Rakhal Murmu performed Puja under Sal tree at the place of worship. The devotees offered roosters of white, black and red feathers at the altar to appease the Mother Nature.
Majhi Baba Suresh Hansda said that Sarhul is the festival during which obeisance is paid to Mother Nature.
