Chandil: One Vishnu Gope (40) resident of Chilgu under Chandil PS has alleged wrong treatment under National Health Insurance Scheme.
Gope said that under the health insurance scheme he had undergone Hydrocele operation at Elite Hospital Dimna. But after few days of operation the stitches came off and bleeding started.
Presently he is bed ridden in a critical condition and wound has festered.
According to information the BPL families were given health insurance of Rs 30,000 in return of Rs 30 from each family under National Health Insurance Scheme.
In order to take the benefit Vishnu, having insurance card no 2023 0700 7120 0207 6, got himself admitted at Elite Hospital where underwent Hydrocele operation on February 12.
However the stitches came off after four days and when he reached the Elite Hospital he was told that he underwent wrong treatment.
Thereafter he met Dr Manoj Kumar of Mayank Mrinal Hospital for treatment. Dr Manoj told Vishnu that treatment at Elite Hospital had not been done in a proper manner.
Presently Gope is bearing expenses for his own treatment. Vishnu said that he would lodge cases against national health insurance scheme and the Elite Hospital.
