Samadhan to organize fourth mass wedding ceremony on Nov 25

Jamshedpur: City-based social organization Samadhan is busy preparing for yet another mass wedding ceremony scheduled to be held on 25th November. This year, the outfit is organizing its fourth mass wedding ceremony with a mission to protest against dowry system and support the �Beti Bachao� campaign of the government.

According to Dinesh Kumar, chief patron of Samadhan, 41 girls have been married off by Samadhan in the last three years. He said preparations for the mass wedding are in full swing.

Kumar said those interested in benefitting from the upcoming ceremony may get their names registered by 10th October. Samadhan is organizing the event to help under-privileged girls get married.

On 24th November, mehandi and Sangeet Sandhya will be organized for the brides. All events will be held at Town Hall ground in Sidhgora.

According to Poonam Vig, president of Samadhan, the registration of brides and bridegrooms will take place from 28th August till 10th October.
