Jamshedpur, August 21:A meeting of the Sahu Samaj was convened on Monday at Nandnagar Park in Bhuinyadih to form a Regional Committee of the Sahu Samaj. The meeting was chaired by Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha (ABTSM) District President, Rakesh Sahu.
The community’s Regional Committee was formed as part of its, ‘Sahu Samaj Aapke Dwar’drive. Sagar Sahu was appointed Regional President, Vishwanath Saw Secretary and Akash Gupta as the Treasurer.
The Regional President was instructed to expand the committee within 15 days and provide information to the district committee. On this occasion, ABTSM District President Rakesh Sahu informed that the ‘Sahu Samaj Aapke Dwar’ program will be conducted in every region to connect people with the aim of strengthening the Tailik Sahu community.
Others who spoke at the Regional Committee formation meeting on the subject of strengthening the community and the organization were District Treasurer Suresh Kumar, Satyanarayan Saw, teacher Rajesh Prasad, Legal Advisor Sanjay Sahu, district vice president Pappu Sahu, district secretary Ashok Sahu, Sanjay Saw, District Advisor Shailendra Kumar, Women’s WingPresident Puja Sahu, Thana President Manoj Sahu and Kamlesh Sahu.The program was mainly attended by Munna Saw, Chandan Kashi, Nandini Gupta, and elderly women from the community.
