Sahastraghat Jalabhishek Puja at Sakchi Bazaar Shiva Temple on July 19

Jamshedpur, July 15: Sahastraghat Jal Abhishekof Baba Bholenath will be performed at Sakchi Bazaar Shiv Mandir on Tuesday, July 19 from midday. The Sahastraghat Jal Abhishek of Lord Shiva bears special importance because it will be for the first time in Jamshedpur that Jal Abhishek of Lord Shiva will be bathed with the holy water of River Ganges that will be brought in a tanker from Sultanganj. The worship will be all the more special because this is the holy month of Sawan, the favourite month of the Lord.

This special Sahastraghat  Jal Abhishek of Lord Shiva will be organized by Lal Chand Agarwal and Bablu Agarwal of Shiv Mandir Committee in memory of their late father, Vinod Kumar Agarwal. A large number of devotees will be offering prayers during the very special Sahastraghat Rudrabhishek of Baba Shiv with Ganges water, Ganga Jal from the holy site of Sultanganj.

Bablu Agarwal, urged devotees to participate in Baba’s special Jalabhishek at the Sakchi Bazaar Shiv Mandir as rituals would commence from 12:30 pm on Tuesday, July 19. Shringar and Maha Aarti will start from 5 pm onward.
