RVS College holds two-day robotics training for students, schools

Jamshedpur, Nov 7: A two-day robotics training programme was held at R.V.S. College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, in collaboration with Soham Academy of Institution. The initiative aimed to introduce students to modern robotics and practical model-building techniques, fostering innovation and technological learning among young minds.

K. Sahdev from Soham Academy served as the chief trainer, while Jyoti attended as a distinguished guest. College Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari welcomed the guests with saplings as tokens of appreciation. During the inaugural session, Dr. Vikram Sharma spoke about the growing importance of robotics in education, industry, and innovation. Global Head Shipra Singh said the training would inspire new directions for societal and technological development. Treasurer Shatrughan Singh noted that the growing influence of robotics would help optimize the use of unmanned systems and smart technologies in daily life.

On the first day, students of RVS College received hands-on experience in building and programming robotic models. On the second day, participants extended the learning experience to local government schools, training students of Classes 9 and 10 in robotics fundamentals. A competition was also held during the event, and winners were awarded certificates of merit.

The training sessions were conducted in several city schools, including Hindustan Mitra Mandal Middle & High School (Golmuri), Tata Works Union High School (Sidgora), Rajasthan Vidya Mandir High School (Sakchi), Pupils Academy High School (Baradwari), Adivasi +2 High School (Sitaramdera), Harijan High School (Bhalubasa), Simuldanga +2 Upgraded High School (Simuldanga), and KGBV High School (Patamda).
