Jamshedpur, April 22: RVS Academy commemorated Earth Day with a range of activities, all aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living. The theme of ‘Planet v/s plastic’ stressed the school’s commitment towards reducing plastic usage and preserving the Earth’s beauty and ecological balance.
Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Academy, delivered a message highlighting the collective responsibility in safeguarding the planet. Principal Veesha Mohindra praised students for their dedication to environmental advocacy.
A highlight of the event was a creative workshop where students showcased their talent by crafting artwork from recycled material, particularly repurposed paper bags. These creations were distributed to local vendors, promoting the use of paper over plastics.
In addition to artistic endeavors, students participated in planting saplings, nurturing them with care. The day also featured poetry recitations and speeches, all emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship.
RVS Academy demonstrated its commitment to environmental conservation through these initiatives and instilled a sense of responsibility towards the Earth among its students.
