Noamundi, Feb. 28: Rungta Mines won nine prizes for excellent performance in different categories during the 17th Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation (MEMC) week organized under the aegis of Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), Kolkata Region held on February 25, 2017 at Park hotel in Kolkata.
The Rungta mines bagged the first prize in a aforestation, publicity, waste dump management, sustainable development, environmental monitoring and overall management while it received the second prize under CSR including education, health, agriculture, environment, livelihood and sports besides basic work on reclamation and rehabilitation, and systematic and scientific development.
Present during the function were Harik Mazumdar Vice President, Chief general Manger Zoology Abhijit Sen , Additional general Manger Subhash Chandra Pradhan, Om Prakash Singh, Rishikesh Dutta and others from the company management .
