Ranchi: Under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Amit Khare, the State Planning Authorized Committee recommended six schemes to CM Raghubar Das for approval.
The recommended schemes include establishment of 13 small hydel power plants at 13 places, construction of 40 power sub-stations, expansion of 59 power sub-stations, establishment of 1231.25 circuit K.M 33 KV high potential feeder, 13935.18 circuit K.M 11 KV high potential feeder, installation of 51,183 transformers and installation of 13231.69 circuit KM low potential air bunch cable line.
Besides the above projects, recommendation was also made for the expansion of Deoghar airport and administrative approval of Rs. 27.41 crore for utility shifting through change of present transmission line. It also includes construction of passengers’ shed for Rs. 1.65 crore.
The committee further gave its nod to the revised administrative approval of Rs. 74.23 crore for construction of Jharkhand Judicial Academy building and Rs. 24.36 crore for construction of ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd storey of Jharkhand High Court.
Khare said the meeting of the committee is being conducted every week as per the direction of the Chief Minister. “In the meeting of the committee held on 20th February last, 38 schemes worth Rs. 4009 crore were approved and it’s our earnest endeavor to get all schemes of FY 2017-18 passed by 31st March 2017,” he said.
