Jamshedpur : The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur, Femina celebrated World Lepers Day on January 31 at Parvati Ghat.
Rotary Femina Club also sponsored lunch to all the inmates of the Ashram and Old Age Home at the Lepers Colony in Parvati Ghat. Two dozen packets of Biscuits and mustard oil was also donated.
Pasam Adesara said that it is a pleasure to be of service at such places where the need is more. President. Pasam Adesara , secretary Geeta Dubey, President Elect Sonal Agrawal, vice president Pritha Dutta, Babita Kedia, Deepa Vig, Vinita Sarawgi, and Namrata Sonthalia were present. Meher Madan who has always been engaged in doing good work at this colony, gave the members a lot of information about their requirements of this colony.
On Friday January 30 the special children studying at Jeevika at Sonari were taken away for a picnic. Rotary Club of Jamshedpur, Femina contributed by giving fruits to all and spent time and played with the children. This yearthe Rotary Theme is ‘Light Up Rotary.
