Jamshedpur, May 8: A six day Roller Skating Summer Camp was inaugurated at Kerala Public School, Kadma. The camp which was inaugurated by International Skating Coach for Roller Skates and Roller Games, Puneet Gupta, saw skating enthusiasts between Std I and Std IX eager to hone their skills in this format of sport.
The Director of Kerala Public Schools Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Head Mistress Alamelu Ravishankar and Coordinators T Veena and Jatinder Kaur were present on the occasion. Coach Puneet Gupta guided them in enhancing their skating skills. The students received expert suggestions related to bending, swirling and stunting with minimum injuries. Parents of the participants were happy to see the efforts made by the coach to train their kids. They thanked the school’s managing committee for organizing the event and giving their wards an opportunity to explore the new horizons offered through skating.
