Angiography relieves heart blockages : Dr. Alok Ranjan
Jamshedpur, May 8: Increasing pollution, wrong eating habits and unorganized lifestyle are considered to be the root of all diseases. Because of this, most of the people are falling prey to heart diseases. At the same time, obesity, diabetes, cholesterol increase and several other reasons are causing heart attack. Additing to this, Dr.Alok Ranjan from Surat said that due to lack of awareness among the people, more deaths occur due to heart diseases. He said that blood travels to the muscles of the heart through the veins of the heart. For some reason, when these veins get completely blocked, a sudden heart attack occurs and the patient dies. The increase in cholesterol also increases the chances of heart attack. He remarked that people over 70 years of age are victims of heart attack where 50 percent people die in India compared to, only 25 percent of people in other countries. The reason for this is that people of other countries are more aware about heart related ailments. He stated that heart treatment has become much easy with the introduction of angiography.
