Roads and irrigation top priority: BJP candidate Muchiram Bauri

Jamshedpur, Nov 26: BJP candidate from Jugsalai Muchiram Bauri went on a mass contact campaign in the constituency on Tuesday. He said building roads and providing irrigation facilities to farmers would be his top priority after winning the state Assembly elections. He said around half of the population in the constituency resided in the villages like Potka, Bodam, MGM and Kamalpur. The remaining urban population resides in Ghorabandha, Govindpur, Parsudih, Sundernagar and Jugsalai, he said.

Bauri said the deplorable condition of roads was a major problem in urban Jugsalai while absence of irrigation facility is a big problem in the rural parts of the constituency. In the rural areas, farmers also need cold storage facility, he said.

Others present during the campaign included district BJP president Dinesh Kumar, Rajkumar Singh, Poresh Dutta and Mantu Charan Dutta.
