Revenue enforcement teams check trade licenses across Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 10: Following orders from Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar, revenue enforcement teams carried out inspections at various commercial establishments to ensure proper trade licensing under the Municipal Act.

Assistant Municipal Commissioner Arvind Prasad Agarwal held a review meeting earlier in the day, after which newly appointed Revenue Inspectors conducted field visits in areas including Dimna Road and Old Purulia Road.

Many shopkeepers were issued on-the-spot trade licenses, while fines were imposed on others for non-compliance. Officials reiterated that trade licenses must be renewed upon expiry.

Present during inspections were Municipal Manager Pradeep Kumar, Revenue Inspectors Pradeep Bedia, Rohit Ekka, Sujeet Kumar Singh and Sanitary & Food Inspector Sanjay Kumar. Daily checks will continue to ensure compliance citywide.
