The state registrar department has sent a letter to TWU management and complainant in the case Anil Singh, Sunil Singh and former treasurer of the union, J Adinarayan Rao to present their stand in the case on June 9 in Ranchi.

Incidentally, several opposition members had lodged a complaint on the manner in which the election to TWU was held before the labour commissioner and deputy labour commissioner. The election to TWU were held on January-February 2021 and new executive committee took charge of the office. But even after four months of the election the TWU could not be lodged in the state government register B.

The hearing in the Kolhan deputy labour commissioner (Rajendra Prasad) evel has already been completed and report submitted to the trade union registrar.

The opposition faction have accused the election official of not giving adequate time for the election which prevented several employees from putting their stand before employees.
