Recruitment camps in private companies for locals soon: Jharkhand CM

Girls need to go school for taking benefits of government scheme: Hemant 

Ranchi, October 14: Chief minister Hemant Soren announced that soon the government will hold camps for recruitment of locals in private and government companies.

Addressing Apki Yojana Apki Sarkar Apke Dwar program at Goilkera in West Singhbhum district on Friday, Hemant Soren said that the government has made laws for reservation of 75 per cent of jobs in private and government companies for locals.

“We have made a law for reservation of 75 percent of jobs for locals  in private and government companies. We want the right of locals to be safeguarded and soon the government will be hosting camps for recruitment of locals in private and government companies like the camps which are being organised in panchayats as part of Sarkar Apke Dwar program,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that soon work will be done to change the face of Goilkera Haat market. Basic facilities will be provided to the people here.

The Chief Minister said that the daughters of the state need not go out.

“Girls can take benefit of Savitribai Phule Kishore Samridhi Yojana at the camps. But for these the girl have to go to school,” said Soren. ‘’

“The schemes have been created according to the people here. Schemes from agriculture to self-employment are being operated. We need to stand on our own feet. We have overcome the dire circumstances of the Corona period. The sisters of the Sakhi Mandal of the state distributed food among the needy. No one died of hunger. Now Jharkhand has gone into a state of drought. In view of the drought, we are working to send the officials to your door after making a plan,” said Soren.

The chief minister also stressed on timely pension and timely payment of wages to MNREGA workers.

The Chief Minister said that your government has made arrangements to give pension to all the needy of the state. TSavitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana has been launched for financial help in the education of adolescent girls. Adolescent girls will get the benefit of the scheme. But to take advantage of the scheme, the girl child will have to come to school and study. The government has taken a resolution to open degree colleges in every block.

The Chief Minister said that dragon fruit is being cultivated on a large scale in Khunti. The price of dragon food increases after leaving Jharkhand. The government is making special preparations to market linkage for dragon fruit produced in Jharkhand.
