Jamshedpur, July 31: The Jharkhand Government’s Primary Education Directorate, School Education and Literacy Department, Ranchi, vide a notification # 629, has directed all government recognized private schools to get registered under RTI Act for classes between 1 and 8.
The District Superintendent of Education (DSE) has issued directives to all recognized private schools in East Singhbhum and these institutions include those affiliated to CBSE and ICSE boards and Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). Registration under the RTI Act has been made compulsory for these private institutions. The DSE has directed all private school principals to collect forms to the effect from the office and provide all necessary information and submit them at the earliest.
