Jamshedpur, August 21: Annual Prize Day was celebrated in Govind Vidyalaya on August 21. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. B.D. Sharma, managing director of the school by lighting the lamp in the presence of Principal Dr. Sunita Sinha, Administrator Krishna Modak, Vice Principal Arvind Charborty, Primary Wing Incharge Rita choudhary, P.R.O. Rajesh Sharma, teachers, parents and students. The programme began with a welcome song followed by Dance & skit presented by the students.
The Chief Guest awarded the best student award to Ravi Kumar of std XII A & Shela Perween of VI. Teachers & staff were also given letters of appreciation for showing there good performance. The toppers of XII & X were all awarded along with their subject teachers. The students were encouraged & inspired to give their best in life by Director.
On this occasion the annual report was presented by the teacher Arvind Charborty. The welcome speech was delivered by Rita Choudhary. The program hosted by Naushad Razia & Debjani Banerjee accompanied by the students of XI (Alkama, Smita Sinha & Aasana Khan). The vote of thanks was given by Debjani Banerjee.
