Ram Mandir to organize Sharad Navratri�from Oct 13

Jamshedpur, Oct 10: Andhra Bhakta Sree Rama Mandiram will organize Sharad Navratri festval from October 13 at the temple premises in Bistupur.

On Tuesday, according to South Indian tradition, rituals like�Kalash Sthapana of Shiva Ganpati and Chandi Yagnam will be done.

Talking about the festival, C.H Shankar Rao, President of Ram Mandir addressing a press conference on Saturday said, a team of vedic priests from Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) will perform the rituals at Sharad Navratri puja from 13 to 22 October.

Five Vedic priests including Prasad Sharma, Santish Sharma, Satyanarayn Sharma, Anand Kr. Sharma and Rammurty Sharma will perform the rituals on all nine days of the festival while main priest will be Uma Maheshwar Sharma from Jamshedpur.

30 feet long pandal has been erected inside the mandir premises specially for Sharad Navratri. On Mahashaptmi, Mahashtami and Mahanavmi Prasad will be distributed among the devotees, Shankar Rao added.

He further informed that programme will start with Gopuja, Ganpati Homam, Ganpati Puja at 7.30 am on Tuesday, October 13.

Also present at the press meet were P.V.R. K Rao Dy. Vice-President of Andhra Bhakta Rama Mandir, Vice-President B.V Appa Rao, K ishwar Rao, General Secretary N Narsingh Rao, Joint Secretary R.K. Murthy, D Bhaskar Rao, M Chandrasekhar Rao, Treasurer Y.A Ramarao, Joint Treasurer I Srinivas and other working committee members were present.
