DBMS Lilliput awards meritorious students Annual Prize Night

Jamshedpur, Oct 10: Xth Annual Prize Night of D. B. M. S. Lilliput School was held on Saturday at the D. B. M. S. Auditorium.  

Mrs.  Lalitha   Chandrashekhr, Jt. Chairperson of D.B. M. S. Board of Trustees presided over the function as the Chief Guest of the evening and Mrs. Rajani Shekhar, Principal of D. B. M. S. English School was the Guest of Honour. 

Students honoured with special awards include- Chandan Kumar  (X) – Best Social Worker Award, top three School Topper in the NIOS Board- Priya Kumari, Deepika Kumari and Poonam Jal were awarded with Silver Coins.

Roshan Mukhi  (X) won the Best Achievement Award, Rohit Nag (X) got Best Sports Player award, Roshni Hembram(X) was adjudged the best Discipline Student, Ritu Ruhu Das  (VI) was Junior All Rounder, Sandeep Thapa ( X ) was the Senior All Rounder, Tiya Dey ( IX ) was awarded for Good Academic in Std. IX, Badal Kar  (X ) won for Best in Co-curricular and Academics while Sanjana Kumari ( IX ) was maximum Award winners.(KG-Std.IX).

Earlier, the programme started with the Lord Ganesha’s dance which was presented by the group of students, which was really appreciable. 

On this occasion the Chief Guest,  Mrs. Lalita Chandrashekhar,  Mrs. Lakshmi Varadharajan – President of the School, Secretary – Mrs. Srividya Narayan, Jt. Secretary – Mrs. Indu Modak,  gave away the prizes to the rankers of  Std. VI to Std. X and the special awards were given to the meritorius students.  

President – Mrs. Lakshmi Varadharajan gave the welcome address and praised the effort of  teachers and staff members.  Mrs. Srividya Narayan, Secretary of the school read out the Secretary’s  report for  the  Academic Session : 2014-2015.  Mrs. Lakshmi Varadharajan gave  the Vote of thanks. 

Chief Guest – Mrs. Lalitha Chandrashekhar as well as  the Guest of Honour – Mrs. Rajani Shekhar  motivated the  students and teachers with their sparkling speech. Students of Std. VI to Std. X and teachers witnessed the programme.
