Jamshedpur, Mar 29: On the auspicious occasion of Rajasthan Day, we honor the unique culture, traditions and glorious history of this land of valour. Rajasthan was unified on March 30, 1949, marking its establishment as an organized and powerful state. Known for its rich traditions, heroic tales and business acumen, Rajasthan is not only a pride of India but also deeply connected to the Marwari community. The Marwari society is renowned for its entrepreneurial spirit, diligence and dedication to social service.
To celebrate this heritage, the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan is organizing a grand two-day Rajasthan Festival. The event will include cultural programs, traditional folk dances, music, lectures and other vibrant performances to showcase Rajasthan’s cultural legacy. The exact dates are yet to be finalized based on venue availability, but the enthusiasm and grandeur of the celebration will remain undiminished.
Mukesh Mittal, President of the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan, emphasized, “Rajasthan Day is not just a historic date but a celebration of our culture, traditions and business excellence. The Marwari community has established its identity not only in Rajasthan but across the world. In modern India, while preserving our traditional values, we must continue innovating and contributing to social development. This year, let us pledge to uphold the glory of our culture while playing a vital role in societal progress.”
