Rahargora ABMB School gets sanitary pad machine

Jamshedpur, July 31: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East installed a sanitary pad vending machine at Rahargora ABMB School in Telco. On the occasion club members provided 500 free sanitary pads among the school girls. President of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East Rama Khanna and Meena Mukherjee informed the girls and school teachers how the machine works.  Club member Sanchita Dey informed class 6 and 7 girls on how to maintain cleanliness during menstrual period. Later, President Rama Khanna addressed the students of class 9 and 10 and asked them to include iron rich food in their diet to help keep anemia at bay. Iron capsules were also distributed among the girls. A health check up camp was also organised by the club. Also the members of the club were present at the event.
