Jamshedpur, Feb 18: Two motorcycle-borne criminals snatched a purse from one Pushpa Mishra in Golmuri on Saturday.
Sources said the victim, a resident of Kailash Nagar, Burmamines, was walking towards a clinic from her residence. The culprits intercepted her near Golmuri Masjid and snatched her purse containing Rs 5000 cash and a mobile phone. Pushpa shouted for help. Several local residents and commuters tried to chase the culprits, but failed to get them.
Police said an investigation was on to track down the snatchers.
