Jamshedpur, Nov 7: The Annual Sports Day of INCAB Kerala Public School, Golmuri, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur on Friday. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the torch by chief guest Lakshmi R., Academic Director of KPS, who was joined by Executive Officer J.P. Dubey and Principal D. Sonali.
Lakshmi R. declared the sports meet open with an inspiring address that encouraged students to embrace sportsmanship and teamwork.
A colourful parade, guided by the sports teacher, and a lively drill performance by the junior students set the tone for the day. Sanjay Kumar, the school’s People’s Leader, administered the oath of fair play to all participants before the competitions began.
After several spirited events, Prosperity House was declared the overall champion, also earning top honours in the march past. The Best Athlete Award went to Kedar Honghaga of Class 10 (boys) and Sukhmati Birua of Class 9 (girls).
Principal D. Sonali proposed a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of teachers, staff, and students for making the event a grand success. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
