Jamshedpur, May 26: Ball tapping contest was organised for the waiting parents of summer camp students at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday, May 26.
Sports department’s Avinash Kumar conducted the event with the support of V. Goswami and Arun Sinha.
Cricketer Satish Singh and basketball player T Vasudev Rao jointly distributed the prizes among the winners.
In the women’s category 55 ladies participated.
Priyanka with total of 59 tapping was declared the winner followed by Mahua with 43 tapping and Preeti with 38 tapping.
In the men’s category Tauheed with 136 tapping bagged the first prize, Sumant Kumar with 128 tapping was second while Nand Kishore with 107 tapping was third.
On the other hand, blood pressure check up camp was also organized for the parents at JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Physio Shashi Ranjan Sahay checked the blood pressure of 125 waiting parents at the camp.
