Prioritize unity, national development: Dr Jaya Moitra at Cheshire Home ID Celebrations

Jamshedpur: It did the heart a lot of good to feel the enthusiasm of the special residents at Cheshire Home in Sundarnagar as they sang the national Anthem after Joint Secretary of the RP Patel Cheshire Home managing committee, Dr Jaya Moitra had unfurled the National Tricolour on the occasion of the 77th Independence day celebrations in the Home’s well-manicured lawn. The special inmates along with the sisters and staff members heightened the enthusiasm and celebratory spirit of independence with their choral rendition of the national anthem.

The brothers from Pratiksha Bhawan Sundarnagar highlighted the spirit of the proceedings at the RP Patel Cheshire Home with their presentation of patriotic songs and interesting skits.

In her address, Dr Jaya Moitra underlined this year’s Independence Day theme, ‘Nation First, Always First.’ Referring to the special persons living at the Home, she averred, “I draw tremendous inspiration from the manner in which these special children of the Creator who hail from families with different backgrounds, live in absolute harmony amidst an environ of love, compassion and care.Just as the Cheshire Home embodies unity, each individual should prioritize the nation above all and strive for the betterment of the country at all times.”
