Seraikela, July 22: One day workshop of PC and PLDT was organised under the leadesrhip of Civil Surgeon Kalanand Mishr on Tuesday.
On the ocassion Nodal Officer Dr. AP Sinha shed light on sex determination prohibition Act 1994.
He informed about sex determination during pregnency and having ultrasound of unborn child which is considered as a criminal offense and gave details about it.
Workshop was hosted by District RCH officer Dr. KK Sehgal.
At the event all health officers and representatives of all the private clinics where Ultrasound facility is avalable were present.
