Jamshedpur, Nov 28: The five pronged contest for the Potka Vidhan Sabha seat has all the garnishing for high voltage political drama. BJP legislator Menka Sardar, Bulu Rani Singh of AJSU Party, Sanjiv Sardar of JMM, JVM hope Naresh Murmu and Ishwar Soren the JD (U) bet are all gearing up to grasp the Potka throne and pocket a ticket to the Ranchi dome of Jharkhand power. The candidates and their party workers are busy picking one anothers vote pockets in a do or die endeavor to catch the bus to the state assembly.

If AJSU Party candidate Bulu Rani Singh is able to convince her electorate against her BJP rival Menka Sardar, the Potka equation can go haywire. But Menka does not consider the AJSU Party candidate a threat but is awry of the JMM challenger Sanjiv Sardar.
The moves on the Potka Assembly chess board will not be silky smooth as all the contestants are grandmasters in their zones of power play. If Menka Sardar is able to draw away Adivasi voters to the BJP plank and make it to the podium, it would be three Assembly wins for her on the trot. On the other hand if the two other candidates Naresh Murmu (JVM) and Ishwar Soren (JDU) are able to throw a spanner in the poll prospect wheel of Menka and Sanjiv by convincing the Adivasi voters, it would mean nerve racking times for Sanjiv Sardar. With division of Adivasi voters weight, Menka Sardar will laugh all the way back to the Assembly.
All the candidates in the Potka poll fray are concentrating on the Adivasi vote bank. In fact, the Assembly Potka poll arena has BJP, JMM, AJSU Party, JD (U) and JVM as the five gladiators who have everything to fight and win. The heat is on the up and the political Celsius belies winter readings. With the ticking of the countdown clock getting closer to December 7, one never knows which way the political wind will flow and which boat it will push and which it will wreck. Meanwhile, all fingers of ambitions remain crossed.
