Jamshedpur: The foundation stone for a road construction project in Keruwadungri Panchayat of Jamshedpur block under Potka Assembly was formally laid on Monday by Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar. The project worth Rs 7.98 crore was approved under the Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana of the Jharkhand government.
The road connecting numerous villages in the panchayat will accelerate development. This road construction will be carried out from Kaliyadih village to the Juan Jumid Club building via Bhudrudih and Aaharghutu. The road construction will facilitate transportation for the villagers of the area and enable education, health, and employment-related activities. Villagers said that the road construction will solve a long-standing problem in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sardar said that the priority is to implement schemes that are in the public interest. Sardar stated that his priority is to provide basic amenities to every village. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state government is working to connect rural areas with amenities such as roads, electricity, water, and education. He stated that this road construction project will fulfill a long-standing demand of the villagers and will prove to be a new milestone in future development. JMM Jamshedpur Block Committee Secretary Jagat Mardi, Manoj Naha, Pappu Upadhyay, along with other workers and villagers, were present in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
