Police yet to locate Shankar Sen even after four days

Jamshedpur : Birsanagar police have not been able to find the missing youth Shankar Sen even after four days. On the other hand, the young man’s wife and relatives are upset. Every day the police are circulating in the hope that it may get any clue. But every day they return home disappointed.

Shankar Sen has been missing since last Sunday. He was married a year ago. His bike was found by the police in a bush under the Hurlung Bridge, a deserted area of Birsanagar. The bike was locked. Police searched the entire area, but no information was received. The police took out the call details of the young man’s mobile. The last location was found on the Bhilai Hill side of the MGM police station area.

On Monday, the police went towards the hill, but nothing was found there. On the other hand, as time passes, the concern of the family is increasing. Birsanagar police station in-charge Rajesh Jha said on Wednesday that Shankar Sen’s mobile was turned on one day after his disappearance. Based on that, the police reached the location and searched, but no information was found. The mobile has since switched off.

Sen used to work in a clothes shop in Telco Sector Market. His brother is also working in the same shop. He left home to go to the shop on Sunday morning.  Shankar Sen’s brother Sanjeev Sen, BJP leaders Guddu Singh, Santosh Singh and others are also searching for the youth from their respective levels. Throughout the district, photographs of missing youth are also being pasted. No clue has been found from anywhere yet.
