Jamshedpur, May 14: Bistupur police on Sunday raided Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur. When the police raided ward number 4A of the hospital, a large amount of ganja and chillum were recovered from there. A raid was conducted under the leadership of sub-inspector Tarun Kumar of Bistupur police station, in which these shocking items were recovered.
It is said that the brother of Sub-Inspector Shashi Bhushan Singh, posted at Sonari police station, is undergoing treatment at Tata Main Hospital (TMH). His treatment is going on in Ward 4A. Sub-Inspector Shashi Bhushan Singh’s nephew was in the ward at night to take care of his father. He had fallen asleep in the ward itself.

After this, a raid was conducted in the ward under the leadership of sub-inspector Tarun Kumar from Bistupur police station and the questioning of the attendants present there was started.
An attender, Gautam Mandal, a resident of Mango Dimna Road, Jamshedpur, was caught by the police, after which he was strictly interrogated, in which he accepted that he had stolen the mobile. After this, Gautam Mandal handed over the said mobile to the police. After this the police caught him and took him to the police station.
The attendants during interrogation revealed that there were a lot of unethical activities going on from the hospital. Raids were conducted at other places including the toilet of the hospital from where chillum and ganja have been recovered. However, the hospital management is not in a position to say anything about this. Police is investigating the matter.
