Jamshedpur, May 14: The phase of ups and downs in Jharkhand’s weather is starting again. The sky will be cloudy from May 15 whereas between May 16 and 20, there may be light rain with thunder in the north-eastern (Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahebganj) and eastern parts of the state.
Due to cloudy sky and partial rain, the temperature will drop by 2-3 degree Celsius. The weather will be dry again from May 20. After which the temperature will increase. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning to people living in areas prone to thunder and lightning. Especially it has been said not to come out of the house during a thunderstorm. Due to partly cloudy sky on Sunday, the temperature of the city was recorded 1.4 degree Celsius less (40.2 degree Celsius) as compared to Saturday. The temperature on Saturday was 41.6 degree Celsius. Due to partial drop in temperature, the heat remained low.
