Ranchi, March 21: During the discussion on the grant demands of drinking water, sanitation, home and other departments in the Jharkhand assembly, senior BJP MLA CP Singh criticized the police administration on Friday.
CP Singh said that a separate state was created so that the people here could breathe in peace. After the formation of Jharkhand, the police uniform is the same, but its role has changed.
“Today the police dances like a puppet under the criminals, whose strings are in the hands of the mafia. Today the police opens the way for the sand mafia, is rolling out the carpet for the drug mafia and trembles in front of the Naxalites. The land of the tribals is being snatched away,” alleged Singh.
Taking a dig at Ranchi SSP, C. P Singh said, “In the peace committee meeting, the police said they will bury the person who creates ruckus during Holi ten feet deep. But when a girl is raped in Hindpiri, they cannot bury him even five feet deep.”
CP Singh said that there was Samajwadi Party government in UP. Criminals and mafias were in power. Today the police is the same, but the situation there is visible in Yogi government.
CP Singh also took a dig at Bihar former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, “I will not take the name. But today ED is questioning for four hours each. Both the son and daughter are also being questioned. Will the whole family be questioned?”
CP Singh alleged that in the name of removing encroachment in Ranchi, the police takes action in a particular area. The police shows its valor in a particular area. The law is the same. It should be implemented equally.
