Jamshedpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jamshedpur on Sunday as part of his campaign tour in Jharkhand which is all set to witness assembly elections later this year.
During his visit, Modi will flag off six new Vande Bharat trains and inaugurate or lay the foundation for various development projects valued at Rs 21,000 crore.
The new Vande Bharat trains will connect Berhampur with Tatanagar, Rourkela with Howrah, Deoghar with Banaras, Howrah with Gaya, and Howrah with Bhagalpur.

Following the train launch, Modi will distribute sanction letters of 20,000 houses to the beneficiaries of Jharkhand state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and digitally transfer the first installment of more than Rs. 5 crore directly to the bank account of beneficiaries and Griha Pravesh of 46,000 completed houses.
Soon after that PM will participate in a roadshow from Bistupur Main Road to Gopal Maidan.
He will also hold a public meeting organized by the BJP at Gopal Maidan, where party leaders are preparing for a high-profile event.

PM Modi is scheduled to stay in Jharkhand for about six hours. He will arrive at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi at 8:45 AM and then travel by helicopter to Jamshedpur. From there, he will proceed to Tatanagar Railway Station from Sonari Airport.
Extensive security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister’s visit, with over 5,000 police officers and personnel deployed. Senior IAS and IPS officers have been assigned to ensure protocol and security.
The visit is expected to boost the BJP’s election campaign in Jharkhand.
