Photographers Association of Jamshedpur hosts friendly cricket match

Jamshedpur: A friendly cricket match organized by the Photographers Association, Jamshedpur, was held at the Agri Co Transport Ground, witnessing enthusiastic participation from the city’s photography fraternity. More than 80 photographers took part in the sporting event, which aimed to promote camaraderie and team spirit among members.

The match was organized under the chairmanship of association president Anand Singh. The founding members of the organization—Abhimanyu Kumar, Paramjit Kumar, Rupesh Kumar, Babulal Prasad, and Shubho Bhattacharya—played an active role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. Rajneesh Upadhyay, Rajesh Prasad, Daljit Singh, secretary of the association, and Omprakash Sah from the executive committee made significant contributions to the success of the event.

Played in a four-innings format, the match saw Abhimanyu Kumar’s team emerge victorious, while the team led by Dhananjay Singh finished as runners-up. The competitive yet friendly encounter kept participants and spectators engaged throughout the day.

Vice Chairman of the East Singhbhum District Council, Pankaj Sinha, attended the event as the chief guest and presented a memento to the winning team, appreciating the initiative taken by the Photographers Association to blend sports with professional bonding.
