An auto-rickshaw carrying school kids in the city on Thursday, a day after a child fell to death from an auto-rickshaw on his way home.
The child was forced to sit on the front seat by the driver. He fell from his seat when the safety rod suddenly came off. Taking no lesson from the fatal incident, auto-rickshaws continued to ferry kids between school and home as district administration apparently took no corrective or punitive measures.
