Pedestrian route closed at Tatanagar station, commuters suffer

Mail News Service

Jamshedpur, Nov 3: The pedestrian pathway connecting the Tatanagar Station TOP to the main road has been closed off with barricades and wires, causing significant inconvenience to passengers trying to access the station directly.

Due to the closure, travellers are being forced to take longer detours, resulting in delays and confusion.

Many passengers are unaware that the footpath near the Burmamines culvert has been shut, leading to minimal use of the alternate route.

The long-term closure has also led to unhygienic conditions along the stretch, with accumulated garbage and foul odour adding to the discomfort of commuters.

Regular passengers have urged the concerned authorities to reopen and clean the route at the earliest for smoother and safer movement to the station.
