Peace committee meeting in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 18: A meeting between the Azadnagar police station peace committee and the Imam of the mosque was organized in view of the forthcoming Eid festivities. The meeting was presided by SDO Piyush Sinha. Among others who were present in the meeting included Patamda DSP Sumit Kumar, Azadnagar police station In-charge Rakesh Kumar, Probationary Executive Officer of Mango Municipal Corporation Chandan Kumar, City Manager Nishant Kumar and Electricity Department’s JE Amir Hamza.

 The meeting was conducted by the Brand Ambassador of Mango Municipal Corporation and Secretary of the peace committee Mukhtar Alam Khan. Chairing the meeting, SDO Piyush Sinha congratulated the peace committee members and all the Imams of the mosque and wished them a joyous, peaceful and happy Eid. He said that every possible effort would be made to maintain peace on the occasion of the festival. Patamda DSP Sumit Kumar said that on the occasion of Eid, police would be deployed at all points to ensure peaceful celebration of Eid.
