Jamshedpur, April 18: Drinking water supply will remain disrupted in many areas on Wednesday, April 19 due to maintenance work to be carried out at Tata Steel UISL Tatanagar Water Works at Tata Foundry on Wednesday, April 19.
As a result, drinking water supply will be disrupted in various localities of the company’s command area on April 19 in the evening. People of the localities concerned have already been notified of the disruption in water supply so that the could remain prepared to meet the situation.
According to the notification, there will be no water supply on Wednesday, April 19 evening in Tuiladungri, Golmuri Basti, Golmuri Flats, Refugee Colony, Sitaramdera Basti, East Plant Basti, DVC Colony, Nildih, Gwala Basti, Baridih, Kailash Nagar, Anand Nagar and other localities under the command area. An appeal has been made to the denizens of these localities to store water in their homes to meet the contingency. (w/gsd)
